What is Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery?
Oral is defined as pertaining to the mouth and teeth.
Maxillofacial is defined as relating to the upper/lower jaw and
face (particularly with reference to specialized surgery of the
maxilla). Oral surgery is surgery relating to the mouth or
teeth, and "maxillofacial surgery" is surgery relating to the
upper and lower jaw and face.

What are Oral and Maxillofacial Associates?
As Associates in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Esthetique
Dentistry's staff are trained in assisting with I.V. sedation
and anesthesia. Patients are continuously monitored during and
after surgery. In addition, general anesthesia provided by a
board certified anesthesiologist is available.
The surgical staff affiliated with Esthetique Dentistry are
experienced, oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who
assist in administration of IV Sedation and surgery. Staff
members are also informed administrative personnel, well-versed
in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
